WHO IS REFIT?
REFIT is a Waco-based, nationally recognized fitness program. What started as a local fitness class in 2009 has evolved into a fitness revolution with over 3,300 REFIT Instructors across the globe and over 300k subscribers to the REFIT YouTube Channel. REFIT’s mantra is “EVERYBODY BELONGS” and women of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities are finding their fit in an industry that typically excludes. REFIT is a body-positive community that offers workouts online and via live classes, as well as an instructor certification program for those interested in teaching REFIT in their community. Their format combines several elements of fitness into one power-packed hour. The focus is structured around movement + music + more; including toning, flexibility, strength training, and stretching. The workout formula is easy to follow and will both challenge fitness enthusiasts and welcome beginners.
HOW DOES REFIT USE SIDEKICK?
REFIT utilizes Sidekick’s subscription program through our video, photo, and live stream capabilities. Sidekick films their weekly YouTube Tuesday videos where instructors teach the REFIT community new dance workouts. We’ve photographed events, captured headshots, and live streamed their entire RECON conference from start to finish.

REFIT RECON CONFERENCE
Every year, the REFIT instructor community descends on Dallas, TX for RECON, a weekend of training, dance parties, and culture building. RECON consists of main sessions with guest speakers and breakout sessions for specialized training, with plenty of energetic dance parties mixed in. Sidekick has documented multiple RECON weekends, bringing our entire team for a full-service experience. We film and photograph the entire weekend to capture the moments and live stream the sessions to expand the experience to a virtual audience. The Sidekick team provides recap video edits each evening to be shown to attendees the next morning. We also create videos before the event that are played throughout the weekend, such as a year end recap, hype videos, and more. Sidekick works collaboratively with the production (audio, video, lighting) company to elevate the overall production quality and minimize issues.

YOUTUBE TUESDAY FILMING
Every week, REFIT posts a new dance workout to their international YouTube community called YouTube Tuesday. Sidekick provides all of the necessary gear and sets up on site at REFIT to film YouTube Tuesdays as conveniently and efficiently as possible. We record multiple workouts per filming session and turn edits around according to an agreed upon schedule. YouTube Tuesdays were once handled internally by the REFIT team. We were delighted to take this series off the team’s plate, which allowed them to invest in and grow their incredible brand in other ways.
